In some schools, two or three hummingbirds can proudly be seen, a charming symbol that represents the expansion and growth of our program across distinct age groups. We chose the hummingbird to represent each classroom because these lively little creatures are the very heartbeat of our identity—just as our students are the beating heart of our enrichment program. As the hummingbird dances from flower to flower, our students flutter with curiosity and enthusiasm through learning, making each classroom a vibrant hive of creativity, exploration, and constant discovery.

For students looking for additional resources from the comfort of their homes, we're overflowing with excitement as we expand this space designed specifically to better serve them and make their learning even more fun! Right now, we're fine-tuning our music section that will have your students singing, dancing, and learning all at the same time in a unique way. Additionally, we're giving our Cultura del mundo page a vibrant and colorful touch to bring the world's cultural diversity and richness right to their fingertips and hearts. Stay tuned! Welcome to our registration guide. Here's how to register for our sessions smoothly and efficiently.
Open Registration Period
Duration: Typically lasts 2 to 3 weeks.
Access: Flyers with a QR code or link will be sent home for easy registration in students Friday Folders.
Full Registration: A class will achieve full status when all enrollment spots are filled or when the registration deadline arrives, which is the day before the first class at 7:00 PM. This step is crucial for preparing rosters for teachers, school administration and sending welcome emails. After that point, you will need to join the waitlist for available spots or future sessions.
Closing Date: Registration will officially close 1 week after classes start. Register within this time to secure your child's spot.
Early Registration for Current Students
Eligibility: Parents with a student in the current session get early access for the next session.
Advantages: Secure a spot before open registration starts.
Waitlist Registration
Full Class Procedure: If a class is full, join the waitlist, for the next session.
Open Spots: may still be available or may become available later. Being on the waitlist guarantees you a chance to enroll if that happens.
Waitlist Benefits: Register before early registration, increasing your chances for a spot.
Open Registration, A Second Chance: Missed the waitlist? Don't worry—open registration gives you another opportunity. Spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Our educational programs offer a variety of scheduling options to accommodate the diverse needs of schools and institutions. Understanding that each school may have unique requirements, we have designed our classes with flexibility in mind.
Flexible Structuring
Split Sessions: For those who prefer a longer engagement, we offer the option to split shorter sessions into two parts, creating a combined total of 12, 13, or 14 weeks. This can be arranged in several ways:
6/6 Weeks: Two consecutive 6-week sessions.
7/6 Weeks: A 7-week session followed by a 6-week session.
7/7 Weeks: Two consecutive 7-week sessions for a more comprehensive curriculum.
Continuous Sessions
8 to 12 Week Sessions: For schools that prefer a seamless learning experience without breaks, we offer continuous sessions that last between 8 and 12 weeks. This option is excellent for maintaining momentum and continuity in the curriculum.
By offering a range of options, we aim to provide educational experiences that are not only effective but also convenient for both schools and students.

This form is required for your student to be included in the group photo at the end of each session, a special memento of their participation. You'll be able to view the photos afterward via a secure link we send by email. We respect everyone's privacy and use carefully curated images on our social media. Your signature allows your student to be part of these unique moments!

We're hoping to bring a SPANISH ROOTS summer camp in 2026! Many parents have been asking since last year, and we're crossing our fingers to make it happen for all families next summer. Stay tuned—we'll share details as we approach the new year.

Class costs usually range from $20 to $21.80. Several factors influence these prices.
Influencing Factors
Session Duration: Shorter sessions often cost $20.80 to $21.80 due to fixed costs like instructor fees and facility usage, which don't change with session length.
School Differences: Pricing varies by school based on location, and resources. Each school has its own costs. As a result, the cost per class can vary significantly from one school to another.

Flat Rate Discount
For families with multiple siblings enrolled, we provide a flat rate discount of $50 per sibling. This discount is automatically applied to your total amount due at the time of payment.
Refund Process
In the event that your discount is not automatically applied during your transaction, please rest assured that we are committed to ensuring you receive the benefits you are entitled to. Our office will gladly refund the discount that should have been applied.

The policy:
Refunds are available for cancellations before the class begins.
Once the class has begun, you can cancel and receive a refund for the remaining class, with a charge of only one class plus a $10.00 cancellation fee.
After the first week of class, no refunds will be issued for remaining classes.
No refunds will be issued if a student misses a class or is enrolled in another activity during the same period.
In the event of scheduling conflicts, contact us so we may accommodate students' needs.
If SPANISH ROOTS cancels a class, a refund will be issued for that specific class.

We'll keep you informed throughout the session with emails containing all the important information. You'll receive the session calendar, access to the Student Center, a link to your end-of-year photos, and details on how to register early for the next session.
